Yet Another New Guy.
Hello all,

A Family of 5 here that just purchased our very first Metal detector.
We purchased a Tesoro from a member of this forum .We're very excited about trying it out.
I used to watch my Dad and uncle MD at campgrounds we would stay at when I was younger, but I never did it myself.

I've always collected coins (on and off throughout the years), so this kind of hobby works well with my other hobby.
My 2 youngest boys enjoy going through my coin collection, so I think they'll be more interested then my teenager.
Well, we're also in the middle of a Major move right now and that's a reason why I wanted to get the MD.
I wanted to get them something that will get them outdoors at our new location and hopefully reward them with treasure/coins/jewelery in the process.
The Compadre seemed like a very easy and lightweight MD to use and start off with. So we can't wait to go treasure hunting around our new home.
Well, Glad to be a member here and I'm sure we'll be asking alot of questions at first.

Thank you for the Welcome guys. Can't wait to check out our new detector. I could've used one a few years back when I lost my wedding ring in our yard while doing yard work.
But luckily enough I ended up finding it 2 years later, also while doing yard work.
Well we're excited about checking out our new toy. Thanks again for the welcome all.
