I attended the Confederate Decoration Day at the Henry Lonas Cemetary with "Treasurehound". It was worth the getting lost! Here are a few pics.

I had a great time as well and the history about the two soldiers killed at Ft. Sanders was very interesting. The black man with the flag is HK Edgerton and his rendition of I AM THEIR FLAG is awesome. If you want to see it he is on youtube. If anyone is interested in Confederate history our next SCV meeting is next Sunday at the Ramsey House at 2pm. I will be the back up guest speaker if the other speaker can not make it. I will be talking about my Confederate ancestory research.

Here are the markers. A very touching story. These two lay here for 150 years unknown. A few pages in a personal diary located them so they could be honored.
