Here are some treasure story leads for folks to research.

The Lost Delosie Silver Mine

Located somewhere near the North Carolina State border, near Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. If you have been following the price of silver then you know the potential treasure size.

Bear Springs

Located on the west side of Lake Barkle on route 49. During the Civil War a Confederate paymaster buried $60,000 in gold and silver coins somewhere near Bear Springs. The gold and silver was cached in February 1862 after the Federal victory at Fort Donelson which was located not far from Bear Springs.

Carlisle

Located approximately four miles south of Bear Springs. Supposedly, Confederate soldiers running from the Northern troops, buried a cache of gold and silver coins near Carlisle. Dover

A treasure located buried gold and silver coins in Dover. They are assumed to be from a hidden treasure buried by the Confederates.

The Fort Henry Ruins

Located on the east side of Kentucky Lake. More treasures from the Civil War are rumored to be buried here.

Paris Landing

Located just south of the Fort Henry ruins. In 1862, the retreating Confederates buried a large number of weapons and a bronze cannon. Supposedly, the cache is buried where the bridge on route 79 crosses the lake.

The John Winters Treasure

A large treasure of gold coins, and silver plate was buried by John Winters, on his farm, located approximately two miles north of Erin on route 13.

I don't know Beatngu. I just came across these leads awhile back and never have had time to do any research on them. Time to pass them on to others in hopes someone can make a find.

According to Indian authorities, a wealth trove of gold and silver jewelry, coins and costly stones said to be valued at billions of dollars has been found in a Hindu temple in southern India,

The thousands of necklaces, coins and expensive stones have been reserved in as a minimum five secretive vaults at the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple which is well known for its complicated sculptures.
"We are so far to open one additional secret chamber which has not been unlocked for nearly 140 years," Jayakumar told. He further said, the genuine value of the wealth drag can be discovered only after it is evaluated by the archaeological department.
The temple, keen to Hindu lord Vishnu, was established hundreds of years ago by the king of Travancore and contribution by followers have been kept in the temple's vaults since.

Since India obtained independence from Britain in 1947, a trust organized by descendants of the Travancore royal family has controlled the temple.

Officials also plan to maintain a commando force for security, said Kerala director general of police Jacob Punnoose.
"Now it?s known all over the world that the Padmanabhaswamy temple has jewels worth billions of rupees we have decided to assign it maximum security," Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told AFP.
