Does anyone know where to get a Fisher F-75 repaired locally?

I had an accident with mine. I have vertigo problems and stepped on the detector display. I heard a bad crunch. The plastic part holding this together is broken. I got Don D. to glue it back on, but is broken again.

I talked with Fisher and they need the receipt of purchase (I have not found it in the house yet) to send it to them.

The detector still works, it just has a broken neck. Sad

ive been having some good luck using a soldering iron to melt plastic back together... you could possibly give that a try.... and if you are willing to pay to have it fixed i dont see why you would need the reciept....Huh? is it still under warranty or something...Huh?

You might try the guy's at Detector Depot. They are local and are Fisher dealers. Their website has the local number on it. Lynn and Christie are super folks to work with!
