Found this coin yesterday on the river in Big South Fork... was running my machine along the bank. Found it in some REALLY REALLY Black soil.... I am very excited.. woot!!!
I have never seen this coin before, so replies welcomed...
SO very sorry about the double post... bear with me.. this should include all the pics...

WOW!! What a great find!! A beautiful 1877S Trade Dollar and in great condition, too! Not being able to tell how well it would grade, I would estimate its value at around $150.00 give or take .....not too bad!!
It is definitely a keeper!!

Really nice one. I have an 1876 CC Trade Dollar but mine is fake. Sure does look real though. Congrats on your find. That is awesome.

Om Gosh Jughead, that is such a fantastic find if we had a banner I would put it on it. How in the world did you make it back to your car after finding that coin. I am like BarberDimeMike I would still be trying to crawl out of the woods. That is sweet and you figured out how to post the pictures. You did good!!!!!!

I did not know those coins were made for foreign trade.. W O W ..!!
and, I almost passed out when I found it..!! LOL probably be my first and only find of this type!! Will bring it to meeting next Monday!!
