Hey just had a few questions.  I know there will be several silver coins seeded for the hunt but is that all there will be?  Don't get me wrong that is plenty enough for me I love finding silver.  Iwas just asking because I have  never participated in a hunt like this before.  I've seen video of some but I was wondering what to expect.
Will each person be given an area to hunt or will everyone be turned loose to search where ever?
Will there be any prizes given away?
Will silver coins be all that is burried or will there be other items as well?
How long will the hunt last?
Do we need to bring a lunch?
Sorry to be asking so many questions this is new to me and I haven't found any info on the hunt.  Looking forward to it and thanks in advance for any responses.

Good questions, Mike. No, there are no assigned areas, everyone hunts the entire field. And yes, there are usually other prizes given out. No lunch necessary because it only lasts a couple of hours or so. Believe me, you'll enjoy yourself a lot!! I've had a ball at each hunt I attended!!

Right now Mike we have had 3 items donated for prizes with the promise of a couple more. We do not usually give away many prizes at the fall hunt instead saving them for the big spring hunt. In the past we have given away detectors, gift certificates, headphones, diggers etc. This fall's hunt will consist of all silver dimes. They will be planted about 2 inches deep and placed over an area about 100 x 200. The hunt will probably last about 45 minutes given the small amount of money we have for purchasing the coins and adding to the fact that silver is so expensive to purchase. Two years ago we paid 14 to one and 5 months before that we only paid 10 to 1. It is almost to the point where it is too expensive to even plan on buying silver to plant. You will have a great time, find some coins, and hopefully enjoy interacting with other club members.

We are having to pay 25 to 1 to purchase the coins.
