I'll be there with my Santa hat on. What time for sure? Do I need to bring my laptop? Do they have WiFi access?

Coin, I don't know if they have wi-fi, but bringing the laptop would be a good idea if we need to store info. Please do, and we can go from there.

OK, I was slacking at work yesterday. Below is a map to Vernon's. Also, I believe that they have wi-fi. Feel free to bring laptops, tablet's, whatever to tomorrrows (1830 hrs) 6:30 pm get together.

The agenda will be to dicuss which of the legends we want to pursue....maybe one....maybe more....but it's going to be up to the group. After we decide which one(s), we'll talk research, and then.........?

I can't wait!!! Looks like we'll have 4 to 7 people there tomorrow!!!!

Hey Dirtdigger I was only bringing up what I had come across the other day.  I wasn't suggesting it be the one we go after.  I'll leave that up to the rest of you.  I've been under the weather the past couple of weeks and haven't had a chance to do any research.  I'm hoping to make the meeting at Vernon's Thursday.  Thnanks for setting this up think it will be a lot of fun.

It will be a group effort...no matter what direction we decide to go....

Look forward to seeing you (and everyone else too!!!) there tomorrow!!! I picked up some new material for us to look at as well as some detailed info on the Tasso legend.

It was a fun, although loud background noise, meeting. Lot's was exchanged and learned, and now we have a new project site going forward. WooHoo..... can't wait to find, secure and hunt this site.

Coin..... not a problem. We all have to take priorities as they come, but I am sure you would have throughly enjoyed this get together. It was right up your alley, but, there is always ''the next time'', right?

Great meeting with some good discussion.  Gave Ralph the information on the location from my book to research and visit and Knox ghost towns.  Eager to hear what he finds out.

I always hope there is another chance. Lol Alton I thought you were back down in La. enjoying some Cajun cuisine. I started researching the sight last night and found some discussion about it but no real leads. One guy did say he had tried to hunt but never was given permission. Somebody send me the info please.
