What do you do with your really good finds?  Do you display them or just squirrel them away in drawers and boxes.  Over my relatively short civil war relic hunting time, I have found many varieties of minnie balls, round balls, and bullets from various states.  Being a history buff, I like to research my finds.  I try to identify the bullet and the type of firearm in which it was used.  I wanted to make an interesting display that my family and friends could look at while I told them about my hobby.

Most of the displays that I have seen just show the bullet with variety and caliber.  I wanted to make my display a little more interesting to the uneducated observer of civil war artifacts.  I setup a display of my finds along with a picture of the rifle, musket, carbine, or pistols that might have been used with the variety of bullet.  The display has 69 varieties that I have found along with the weapon that might have used them.  I would enjoy seeing what others have done.

Wow that is impressive Alton. How about bringing the display to one of the meetings and show it off please.
