I wondered if anyone else was dirt fishing this winter. Not seen much discussion the few times I have stopped by. I don't have any major hot spots to report other than one with clad. I don't think anyone lives around here anyway. If anyone has any mercury dimes they need dug up or artifacts give me a holler! I've been going out in the cold, but its slow diggins.

This weekend is a total washout for me. Too many family members coming in for the holidays for anywhere from 1 to 5 day visits. I love this time of year. Everyone wants to come home and be a family again and I love my family!

Not sure how much detecting I'll get in this weekend. However next week I intend to hunt 4 or 5 times. We'll keep you posted if we unearth anything good. My last 3 hunts only produced 1 wheat and a bunch of clad.

Well I had a good time at the concession stands today. Even with low battery and a lousy pinpointer still managed 19 coins and a bag full of trash. Can't wait till my Garrett Propointer arrives.

I really would have liked to have gone hunting today but I the wife and I went out by ourselves for a little one on one time. Perhaps if Santa comes tonight I will get to go hunting tomorrow afternoon.
Unaka, any time you get to hunt is good time just like you wrote. Hope the next time you go you return home with your pockets full of coins and goodies.

Coinhunter- I picked up 33 coins today, including 10 from one hole! Plus assortment of other junk including 2 bullets, one looks to be from military weapon and a carabinger ring. I'm going out tomorrow if my swinging arm can handle it. That will make 3 days in a row. My body is aching now. I also worked out at gym today too. lol I hope Santa comes this evening for you so you can go out tomorrow! Good luck!
