Hi, yall ok so i got a detector and want to go try it out... BUT i keep hearing people say its not legal to use them here or there, but i dont see any signs.... so how do i know where or not i can hunt?Huh? i dont want no tickets of loss of equipment or free rides with the sheriff Sad  so where do i find a list of places to go hunting? im dying to get out and hunt Smiley

Most of the schools and parks are public so you shouldn't have any problems there. Stay out of the state and national parks. I google parks and schools and look for the ones older than 1940's. There are a lot in the early 1900's. Good luck and if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

+1 Randy.........I was about to say the same thing. I'd give parks a try first, so you can get to know your machine and yet still find some coinage, then get going with the research and asking permission from the land owners.
