Now Scruch why is it so ridiculous a contest? 2 piles of coins with all the info you need to add the other coins to your guess. You guess the amount in each pile add them together add the other info and there is your guess.  That is a good contest. Heck in one picture you can even count the number of wheat pennies I found.

You still have another guess and remember the amount is for the entire year. Remember the day we went hunting at the park in Kingston and Oak Ridge. I found 82 coins that day alone in what 4 hours. My DFX really finds the clad coins, I just wish I could get it to find relics ie Civil War items like your MXT Pro.. Plus I wish I could find jewelry with it. I think it is a combination of two things. One is my hearing and the other is I rely on the screen and coin tones too much. With coin tone id it is easy to find bunches of clad coins and pennies. It is so complicated to setup and I cannot remember how to set all those items so I just give up and use the factory defaults.

Hey Coinhunter. What Scruch wants is you to put the coins in piles of ten.It will make the guessing easier for him.           LOL

No Mark, I don't need piles of ten, just one pile. That way, with my X-RAY vision, I can count them all!! Unlike you mortal's, if you get my drift........ :-))))))

The contest ends tomorrow night at 11:59. There are several of you that have not entered their second guess and I would suggest that you do real soon. Plus there are several folks who haven't guessed at all. Reckon the prize isn't worth the time it takes to make a post.

Someone PM'd me and asked for a hint. That was quick. So here it is Higher than Larry's lowest guess but lower than Curley's lowest. How is that now everyone look it over and make your best guess.

Hey, I just got back from old Virginny and see that I won the coin contest.  My guess was my birth year.  No skill involved.  Just good old Cajun luck. Tongue
