Went to a discount store today, Ollie's in Maryville, and was surprised to find many book's of historical value. Cival War, WW1, WW2, Korea, VN....... I was able to find several book's that contained all of the correspondance and map's of Jedediah Hotchkiss, the Confederate's premier map maker. WooHoo!!!!! Bought them all, to give to my fellow researcher's and hunter's.

That is great Scruch!! Curley loaned me a book at the last meeting about buried treasures in the south. It has some neat legends for Tennessee.

Cajun, there aren't any seperate title's, all of the stories are listed in chronagrafical order to the battle's he mapped and commented on. The title of the book is: Cival War Battles, The Map's of Jedediah Hotchkiss. I Hope this clarifies this for you.

It has a legend about Coffee county, Southwestern Madison county, Clarksburg, Tn., Sadlersville, Tn., and Medon Tn. in Hardeman County. That is all there is for Tennessee and they are all in middle or west Tn. Boaz. Tell me some more about the one you are interested in and I will see what I can find out.

Scruch, thanks.  The book title was what I was looking for, not the individual articles or stories.
