I will soon be a member of the club as soon as I get my paper work in order, I guess I can start with a little about me, My name is Guy Lambert, I live in East Knoxville, but building a house in Dandridge.
I work as a Engineer/Conductor for Norfold Southern, I have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to detect.
I have only been detecting for 1 year, I started out looking for coins, but always had a craving for civil war relics, but just never had any place to look for them.  I have located a few sites, the strawplains bridge area, and just starting to swing around Bulls gap, but still looking for troop locations, I have made 2 trips on 2 different ridges and have founds 1 3 ringer on each ridge, and one musket cap, so anyone with any info on Bulls gap please inform me, I'm killing myself looking for signs of occupation.
I've never had a chance to hunt with anyone, Ive always been solo, but would really enjoy to hunt with someone or a group, and would love to hit some out of state sites, I have 3 detectors. Fisher F2, lot of bang for the buck, my Whites MXT, which is my primary, and My Nautilus, one day I might learn how to use it lol.
My email is Twofast_4_you@yahoo.com if anyone wants to plan a hunt, just shoot me an email, I have a small tract in strawplains I can hunt, went tonight for about an hour and found 2 3 ringers a round ball and napsack J hook, probally the best I have done so far in such a short time.

Hey Guy welcome to both the forums and our club. I just fired off an email to you with the application form. I see you have already introduced yourself to the forum members and it is great to have you here. I hope you have lots of good luck in finding places to relic hunt. I have just started relic hunting myself and trying to find places are very difficult. I know our fellow club members must have several good places to hunt because they keep coming up with good finds. Hopefully they will begin sharing some of them with us.

Welcome Guy. I used to hunt alone myself but since joining the club I have much more fun hunting with others. My passion is civil war as well and my last great find was a nice trigger guard. This is a great club and forum. If you ever have any questions just ask. Also a lot of us are on treasurenet.com as well. See you soon.
