It is good to see that several of our members have logged into the chat room. It is sad to say I don't think they have gotten to chat with anyone yet. Lol  Right now chatting is a luck of the draw type of thing. If when you log in and someone else just happens to be logged in also, you can chat.  It has been suggested that we have a special night for specific topics and we start the chat at a set time. I think this is a good idea and the credit goes to Mr. Vision for suggesting it. I propose we designate every Tuesday night as open chat night. We can pick a topic and discuss it until everyone gets tired. I also think it should start around 7:30 or 8:00. There is no limit to the number of things we can talk about so lets begin this coming Tuesday with local places to hunt for CW relics. Now we all know that no one wants to give out the location of their favorite hot spot, but most of us new guys in the club are pretty bummed out because few of the older experienced members will give us pointers or share their knowledge with us. We need help learning how to find locations, reading old maps, finding old maps, even learning how to research items. Come on guys, throws us a bone or two. Really we are all in this hobby together and it sure would be nice to find something really cool. After all 3 bullets, 2 plain buttons, and a complete horse shoe are great relic finds but not for a four month period. I spent so much time on the computer hunting for places to hunt I didn't have time to go hunt them. My wife threatened to cut me off completely if I didn't get my priorities worked out. So there you have it in a nutshell. Most of us newbies are chasing each other around in a circle and all we are learning is to do is how to type on a computer. Tell me what you think by replying to this post especially about the time.

I agree with you about us newbees, at least you found a good bullet, the ones i found today were 38 specials ha ha. maybe some of the oldtimers will feel sorry for us and let us tag along. I'd be happy to give them what I find. I think the chat room is a good idea. I'd be kinda slow seeing how my typing ain't to good. Theres a lot of friendly people in the club and i appreciate that.

Thanks again
