This is blueware and when you see it slow down and hunt the site very carefully because it is quite old.  I wish there was a book on dating American pottery shards.  There is such a book for England.

hey look like it could be in the 1800 China was a big importer at that time so was England l some time you tell by the color of the pottery there are some web site that can Ihave some book on pottery I will look to see I use to deal with it a lot McCOY  and hull

This looks very similar to the stoneware/pottery that can be found in Oliver Springs, TN.,  where the Oliver Springs Hotel burned  down years ago.
