I got up this morning and decided to see if I could find a spot where it wasn't raining. Fields were to muddy to do any relic hunting so I thought I would travel around and hit some parks. I ended up putting a bag around my machine and a clear plastic bag over my screen as it started to get pretty wet. It wasn't raining hard but just enough to get wet. I found nothing worth taking pictures of. I found a few quarters and dimes and the usual pennies. Oldest coin was a 61-D and 64 penny. I found a lot of jewelry pieces but none were gold or silver. One earring and a lot of necklace or bracelet pieces and a lot of snaps. And just for you Gabe...... another grill. The plactic bag worked pretty well keeping the maching dry and the clear bag good enough to see the screen for the pin pointing. I hope that you all had better luck.

I really didn't think anyone else would be hunting in the weather. I was all over just going park to park mainly hitting the tot lots. The older pennies were found in one of the parks I decided to check to see how muddy it would be digging. It wasn't that bad as it was almost dry about 4 or 5 inches down. I really wanted to do some relic hunting but the fields would have been way too muddy. Hopefully this weekend will be better.
