Hello everyone, I use a Garrett GTI 1500 and was wondering if anyone out there would have knowledge about how deep it is supposed to detect lets say a musket ball in the type of clay we have here in East Tennessee, Sevier County? Thanks for any and all information in advance.

That all depends on conditions.
Meaning, dry dirt is less apt for good signal vs. wet soils.
Placement of artifact is a key as well.
You should however, be able to detect and recover lead of that size consistently @ 3-5 inches respectively.
Again, soil conditions and placement of relics play a big part of this game.

I hope this helps   Smiley
