Did you or Mike get on that DIV. hunt?

No. Nobody caught the registration early enough. It was almost over when I seen it and by that time it was too late to get in for the early count. Also from what I found out they were only taking people who have hunted the area before. A lot of big relic hunters did not get an invite either because they were not local. I have talked to some DIV people and they had enough locals to fill the slots. Man I was really looking forward to it but even if you were number one you would have not got an invite. Hopefully next year will be better. It is hard for outsiders to get in. I have talked to people who have been trying for three years and they still have not got to go.

That seems wrong that they pick and choose who they want to go on their hunts.I guess that's why I never signed up for one of those hunts.The ones I go on are on a drawing , so everyone has the same chance of going.

From what I know so far this was a special hunt and was looking for locals first. I don't know how they pick for the other hunts.
