Well it was a good morning at the park. Only a few coins found and of course lots of trash but at one point my detector started going crazy.  What ever it was it was showing about 6 inches deep. I started to dig and suddenly there was twine sticking up....I kept diggin but I just had my little plastic trowel and the dirt was hard. I got about 4 - 5 inches down and the twine kept going down. What ever it was, was still there but with that dang trowel it just would not go through that hard dirt. I forgot my E-tool so I guess I will go back tomorrow morning and check it out....well If I can remember the spot....lol...no I can remember. I also stopped for a minute to set there and watch a group of people do Tia Chi ...thought that was pretty cool.  Hope everyone has a good Labor Day....Are you allowed to detect down at the Worlds Fair park? Might find some stuff because of Booms Day.
