Hello all,

My name is Jason and I've spent the last 3 months researching metal detecting.  I finally bought my first detector and now am ready to get busy hunting.  My hopes in joining this forum are to make new friends and gain experience from those that are willing to give a noob a few pointers.  I hope to make your next meeting and also get out and hunt with someone.  Thanks

I settled on the Tesoro Vaquero.  After researching a ton I came to the conclusion that the Vaquero had the same features as some others that were priced much higher minus the TID.  Plus we have a local dealer here in K-town and the lifetime warranty.  Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!
