Went to the Midwest Historical Research Society meeting this past Sunday.Great bunch of fellow detectorists.They do many things like us and many different things too.Their hunts are paid by the club.They have 2 a year,plus a Christmas party.They have several charity's they give to.As a guest I was able to vote in the find of the month and find of the year.I had a blast.

Find out all you can about how they run their club and see if you can get a copy of their constitution and by laws. Learn how they do business and pick us up some hints on how to improve our club and get more people involved.
