Eli Lilly is a now a giant pharmaceutical corporation but at the end of 1863 Captain Eli Lilly's battery fired this particular pill at the Confederates early on during a notable East Tennessee engagement. (Old find)

Kinda reminds me of the old Florida football joke and Steve Spurrier when he was there.  Spurrier was asking this highly touted running quarterback from Alabama if he had ever passed a football. He replied he thought he could if he could get it swallowed. I would have hated to try and swallow the lump in my throat if I saw something like this being fired at me back then.
Really nice find Relicus. I am still awaiting on my invitation to go with you sometime.
